ell they say time flies when you’re having fun. We must have been having a blast because it is so hard to believe that we have made another trip around the sun and it’s time for our Harvest of Excellence (number 25 for us)! Our Fall Sale is starting to have some longevity and it has only happened because of people like you who buy, bid and believe in

our program. What Brad and Melanie started almost 40 years ago has turned into a full fledged family operation with Tyler and Natalie and their boys, Kurtis and Hannah and family and even Shane and Ashlie and family throwing in a hereford or two. With that being said we want you to know that you, our valued customers and families are what we enjoy the most about the cattle business. We are very excited about this offering. This group of heifers may just be our deepest set yet. We are really striving to put depth of quality in every breed. We feel from our oldest to youngest heifer there is something here that works not only in the show ring but more importantly to put in production in your program. This past year and a half has been a difficult one for many. With sickness, loss and so much uncertainty in our nation it has become an increasingly hard task to raise families with the values that are so important. Raising livestock has been one of the ways to keep kids grounded and in a familiar routine that doesn’t change. Farmers and ranchers are some of the hardest working people in our country with Christian values and faith that is passed down from generation to generation. We are so blessed and thankful to be a part of that and we know you feel the same way. With that being said we hope you can bring your kids and grandkids and find something that works in your program. We love to hear the stories and see the excellent work ethic from these young people in 4-H and FFA. They are America’s best who will defy the odds and help turn this great nation around. We invite you to come to the show barn all Fall and view the cattle in person. Videos will be posted a few days prior to sale. Breeders World and CCI.live will be available for bidding on sale day. Sale cattle will be at the fairgrounds in Allen County, Ohio on Wednesday prior to sale. Lunch will

be served sale day starting at 11:00. If you are in town the day before we invite you to a pre- sale dinner on Friday evening November 5th at 6:30 at the Fairgrounds. Please give Tyler, Kurtis or Brad a call with any questions. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday November 6th in Lima! Until then may God pour out His abundant blessings on you. From our family to yours… Sincerely,

The Winegardners and Klingamans

Deciding on the Lot 1 female every year is something that is extremely fun for us to do.

Beginning early this summer there was not a whole lot of debate. If you like them wild looking stout and great structured this is the female for you. She is ready to go showing right now and still has the long term build to win a major as a heavy bred. This is our fist big set of In Control females and we are fired up on them. Not to mention she is a 3/4 sister to Julia Frye’s highly successful female that was campaigned last year.

This again is the natural calf out of our great Angus donor Forever Lady. We definitely had to do her to In Control. We are digging these Maine-Angus cattle and knew we needed to make a few more of them. 427J is a rare beast, she has all the power and body in the world while still being so elegant and smooth. If she can do half of what her maternal sister did for Sara Sullivan this female will be sure to get some banners at a major but more importantly become an incredible cow in the future.

Here is a really high quality half blood maintainer female that adds tons of feature. We love her flexibility and power while still being maternal and functional in her kind. This is one that gets better everyday and we think will be really competitive all year long.

This is a 3/4 sister to the famous Contender bull that was reserve in Denver just a few years ago. Shane and Ashlie are putting together an incredible set of cows in Kansas and this female is just an example of that. This polled female has what it takes to be a big league player with her added look and body shape, while still being great structured. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to own a great genetic piece that can show and win at all levels.

This is the first calf out of Frye’s female that was Reserve Grand in Louisville and 3rd overall at Jr Nationals. This female is extremely cowy and functional in her kind. We love her running gear while still being massive in her rib with a good look from the side. This is awesome when great show heifers turn into even more amazing cows. Get in early on this cow family, it will be one of our best in the short future.

Yeah, you are seeing the pic right. This thing is a load and way cool looking. This has been a fun one to look at since birth with her build and added color. Show her commercial or chi we feel she is one that always gets along being as sound and massive as she is. But more importantly we think as a cow the matings are unlimited of what she can do.

This is a powerful half blood Simmy female from our buddy Thomas Willis in West Virginia. We really like this moderate sized huge barreled heifer that is extremely sound and functional in her kind. This is the kind of female we think shows so well and makes a beast of a donor.
