This year I finally learned what it felt like to be awarded grand champion steer. When the judge slapped Ralph I was so happy and couldn’t believe that I had actually won. It’s the best feeling in the world knowing that all of your hard work has finally paid off. This day will forever be one of my favorite memories. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me throughout my showing career. First, I would like to thank my parents for always supporting me and giving me the opportunity to show livestock. I’d also like to thank my brother for taking care of my animals when I am gone. I definitely wouldn’t have done this without your love and support. I also wouldn’t have been able to do this without the help of Shea and Krisha Geffert and Brian Fox. Thank you guys for always being there to support Jake and I. Thank you Nolan Ferguson for raising a good one and letting us have the opportunity to show him. Showing livestock has taught me so many things that I’ll use for the rest of my life. I’ve learned hard work, responsibility, how to lose, and so many other life lessons. Once again, I want to thank everyone who has helped me at one point or another.
