The Showtimes is excited to announce our Blackout 8 Internship! Applications are now available online! This is one of the few opportunities to work directly with The Showtimes Team and put on a show. This great experience allows you to work with many of the industry's best Judges, Photographers and Leaders! We first offered our Internship for Blackout 7 back in 2019. We met so many great individuals from across the country that we knew we would offer an internship for Blackout 8. Jordan currently represents the University of Wyoming as the Vice-President of the WyoGold Student Alumni Association and as an Ag Ambassador for the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. As a freshman Jordan was a member of the University of Wyoming Equestrian Team, and as a sophomore competed as a member of the University of Wyoming Ranch Horse Team. Jordan has been involved with CFD for as long as she can remember. She attended her first coronation ball at the age of five weeks old, and her first rodeo a week later. Jordan’s family ties run deep through CFD. Her mother, Rachelle, was crowned Lady-in- Waiting in 1992, and served as Miss Frontier in 1993. Jordan’s Great Cousin, Laura Bailey, was
Miss Frontier in 1951, and her Great Aunt, Teddy Ann Storey, held the title in 1942. Jordan served on the Color Guard for the 125th CFD and was also part of the AA “Barn Crew” the summer leading up to the 2021 show. “Tradition is important. Cheyenne Frontier Days is the embodiment of tradition and people coming together as a family to put on a world-renowned rodeo and show. It is humbling to know that I am being trusted with representing the 3000+ volunteers that make it possible. I truly hope to make each one of them proud. I’m so thankful to represent the sport of rodeo, the traditions of the West and The Daddy of ‘Em All!”

At a young age I developed a love for horsemanship, western heritage, and CFD. I became very driven to promote Cheyenne Frontier Days during the years that I was a Cheyenne Frontier Days Dandy. Riding and waving in that big arena is nothing short of a heart-throb experience, it’s easy to say I’m more than grateful to have the unique opportunity of representing Cheyenne Frontier Days as Royalty for not only two, but three years. The Community of Cheyenne is like no other, strong and courageous. We all ride for the brand because that is the cowboy way, it’s important to know where we come from and to keep traditions alive. I am, and always will be humbled to promote and represent “The Daddy of ‘em All.”
JordanMackenzie Johnson is the 20-year-old daughter of Steve and Rachelle Zimmerman and Darrel Johnson. She has a younger brother, Andrew Johnson. Jordan is a 2019 graduate of Cheyenne Central High School where she was a member of the Swim, Drama and Speech & Debate teams. Jordan was also named an Academic All American by the National Speech and Debate Association. She was a 4-year CFD Dandy from 2015-2019. Jordan participated as a 4-H member for 9 years, winning numerous placings including Grand Champion Horse Showman and Grand Champion Western Reiner. Jordan is currently a Junior at the University of Wyoming. She is pursuing a degree in Animal Science, with a concentration in
