Cattlewomen. Amanda has been an intern with Kansas Diagnostics Laboratory, has been engaged in swine nutrition and beef cattle research projects, a student worker with the KSU College of Veterinary Medicine and worked with Brown County Humane Society on the feeding and care of dogs. She assisted with therapeutic horse- riding lessons at Hope Ranch for individuals with disabilities. Amanada volunteers with Casas Por Cristo Mission where alongside 12 other missionaries, built 6 houses for families in Jaurez, Mexico. She has also been involved with Haven House Community Missions to assist individuals struggling with addiction. Amanda was a member of the national winning Meat Animal Evaluation team in addition to the livestock judging team and served as a judging camp counselor and youth contest official. Upon completion of her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Industry, she plans to attend graduate studies in Animal Breeding and Genetics with a focus on Immunology. JennaWheeler Texas A&M University She is a member of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council and Finance Committee which was responsible for hosting the 80-company, 1500-student Virtual Career Fair. She is also a member of Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow and Saddle and Sirloin Club. Jenna served as a Student Ambassador for RFD-TV showcasing research, student engagement and competitive teams at Texas A&M. Jenna was a Summer Intern with Positive Energy Events Plus Marketing working on national campaigns for Southwest Airlines, Indy 500, NAPA Auto Parts, Carrier/Bryant, Elanco Swine, Umbarger Show Pig Feeds and Corteva. She has been a Social Media Intern with Certified Pedigreed

Science next month, Lauren will transition into graduate school in meat science working with Drs. Gehring and Savell. She plans to work in food safety or research and development in industry after her Ph.D. and eventually return to academia for a teaching and research position. Gabri Leone Kansas State University Gabri is President of the KSU Animal Science Competition Teams Council, Public Education Coordinator for Collegiate Cattlemen and Student Manager for the KSU Sheep and Goat Center. She is a member of the Honors Program and is recognized as a Sullivan National Scholar, an American Royal Scholar and Henry C. Gardiner Scholar. She has also served on the American Junior Shorthorn Association National Board of Directors as Public Relations Chair and Vice President. She was a member of the KSU Wool Judging Team and then became the Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Wool Judging Team Assistant Coach. She also judged on the meat judging and meat animal evaluation teams in addition to livestock judging. The meat animal evaluation team was named 2021 National Champion. Gabi will graduate next May through the K-State Honor’s Program with a degree in Animal Science and Industry with a Bioscience/ Biotechnology option. She plans to attend medical school in Fall 2022 at the University of Texas, Texas Tech or Texas A&M and become an agricultural advocate in the medical community. Amanda Stock Kansas State University Amanada is involved with Christian Challenge, Kibble Technology Chemistry and Animal Science Community and the Collegiate

team in Georgia and Hutchinson Community College prior to Kansas State. At KSU, he has been a member of a highly successful livestock judging team and the National Champion Meat Animal Evaluation Team where he was second high individual overall in the national contest. Ty will graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science next spring and due to his interest in the swine industry, he plans pursue a Master’s and Ph.D. in swine nutrition at Kansas State University with the long term goal of securing a position in industry as a swine nutritionist. Lauren Lee Texas A&M University Lauren is President and Chair of the Recruitment Committee of the Meat Sciences and Technology Association and a volunteer for Texas A&M Big Event Service Project. She has been very engaged as a Texas A&M Launch Scholar, completing an undergraduate research project, “The Efficacy of Peroxyacetic Acid as an Antimicrobial on Beef Subprimals” under direction of Drs. Kerri Gehring, Ashley Arnold and Jeff Savell. Lauren is an undergraduate research assistant within the Meat Science Department assisting with numerous graduate student research projects. She participated in a study abroad trip to Australia with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and attended the virtual International Livestock Congress this past March. Lauren has been a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Intern with Standard Meat Company and was a livestock show intern with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. In addition to the livestock judging team, she was a member of the Reserve National Champion Wool Judging Team and was named an All American and was a member of the meat judging team where she also received All American honors.
