what we wanted to accomplish with it was only a dream. 15 years later, as we reached our goals our dreams continued to grow. What’s funny is the most fulfilling aspect of our job is not what would show up on paper. It is the connections we have made along the way. Just yesterday, we received a phone call from a farmer in Illinois who enjoys the magazine, wanted to see how we were doing and chat about life. There is another individual from Iowa who checks on us throughout the year and has dedicated his entire life to the livestock industry through extension. The Showtimes is so much more than a magazine, a marketing and graphic design firm, or a brand. It is highlighting and forming a bond between people with like interests and pushing the limits on what you think is possible. Thank you for 15 great years! We are excited for the New Year and can’t wait to see you at the shows. •

Fifteen years ago, in an isle at the National Western, Lisa brought the idea back up to start a livestock magazine. On February 1, 2007, The Showtimes was born. 82 issue later, we have fine-tuned The Showtimes into the issue you are reading right now! We’re ready for 2022! The Jan/ Feb Stock Show Edition not only celebrates our 15th Anniversary, but it also kicks off a New Year. We’ve upgraded our layout throughout the magazine and are laying the foundation for the best year yet! Rodgers Bulls new sire “How Great Thou Art” is featured on the cover! Inside this issue you will find a new Hall of Fame inductee, complete show coverage from Fall and early Winter shows, a great livestock judging feature, plus many outstanding articles. We also are counting down the days to The Blackout Jackpot 8. Read about all of the dynamics of The Most Electrifying Show of the Year starting on page 177!
