Jan/Feb 2022 Stock Show Edition

us sitting on our family room floor stuffing envelopes with one of our first issues with our friend Mackenzi Dorsey in 2007. The first issue was actually created on a HP Laptop using Coral Draw! I even worked on that issue from my hotel room in Riverton, Wyoming while were were showing at the Mountain States Beef Expo. We didn’t know the correct way to setup an ad and worried if a page would print blurry or not. We had to learn the hard way, but issue by issue and year by year we made improvements and always strived to be better. The first four years we printed The Showtimes with our local printer in Brighton, Colorado. I have so many good memories working with David Eisenach loading the back of my truck with a new issue and then driving home to load our trailer for the next show. For the past eleven years we have printed our magazine

in Denver, Colorado with the official printer of the Denver Broncos! We printed many unique covers including a 3 page metallic cover that opened from the middle that was wrapped with a special band. We’ve used special coatings, covers with cutout shapes and logos and even covers that unfolded from the left. With each issue we strived to bring something cool to print. We thank God for everything he has done for us. The Showtimes wouldn’t be the same without Him. Our parents Jim and Betty Reid supported us from day one. We wouldn’t be able to sell ads, know how to run a business or make connections without our Mom. Dad makes sure everything runs smooth at home and in the sign shop when we are on the road at shows. Finally, we would like to thank everyone who has ever

advertise, subscribed or picked up a copy of The Showtimes. We have been blessed to be part of such an amazing industry. We have met so many wonderful people. Thanks for making The Showtimes what it is and for your continued support! We are excited for the future! •
