am his. Trust me, we have both experienced our share of defeats, and some sting worse than others, but that day in Houston will go down as one of the best days I’ve ever had. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the world’s largest stock show, and if you’ve ever experienced it, it feels ten times the size of any other show or event you’ve attended. To accomplish that feat, at that event, on
the same day, is something I will reflect on for years to come. We are both fortunate to have an incredible group of students who believe in each other and possess a tremendous amount of talent. I knew both teams were capable, but aligning everything on the same day for both teams is incredibly difficult, and this was our first time accomplishing that goal.
WHAT DID IT MEAN TO COACH THE HIGH TEAM ALONGSIDE YOUR BROTHER’S TEAM WINNING THE JUNIOR/SENIOR CONTEST THE SAME YEAR? I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t dreamed of that moment for quite some time. Winning at anything is difficult - especially when you are competing against the best coaches and contestants in the country week in and week out. I know my brother is my biggest fan, and likewise, I
