Winning Grand Champion Market Steer and Grand Champion Market Beef at the West Virginia State Fair with Big Mac is something I honestly still have a hard time putting into words. For so many people, it may have been just a few moments in the show ring, but for me, it represented a journey filled with memories, incredible people, and an animal that became so much more than just a steer. After 11 years of showing cattle, I have been fortunate enough to experience so many unforgettable moments. I have met people who have become like family, traveled to places I may have never gone otherwise, and been given opportunities that have shaped so much of who I am today. Showing cattle has been such a huge part of my life, and every animal, every show, every memory, and every person I have met along the way has meant something to me. Looking back on where I started and thinking about the little girl who simply loved being in the barn and showing cattle makes this moment feel even more special. Big Mac came into my life and quickly became such an important part of this journey. From the beginning, there was something special about him, and getting the opportunity to take him into the show ring and represent him at the West Virginia State Fair is something I will always be thankful
