Whether you are interested in agricultural media and communications, agricultural education, agricultural business, animal science or plant science, West Texas A&M University’s Department of Agricultural Sciences has degree programs that will assist students in their future employment goals. The campus is in Canyon, Texas where there is no better place to study agriculture than in the heart of the industry itself, the Texas Panhandle. “The nature of the Panhandle is people oriented,” said Dr. Lance Kieth, associate dean and department head for agricultural

sciences “We take care of one another. However, if you do not foster that culture and hold it up as a standard, then it does not happen. We work to make that happen here.”
