FOR THE SAUCE: • ½ cup mayonnaise • 3 Tbs. ketchup
• 1 tsp. yellow mustard • 1 tsp. white vinegar • 2 ½ Tbs. sweet pickle relish • Salt • Pepper SAUCE: ahead of time. For the onions: • 1 medium onion, finely diced • 1 Tbs. butter • Salt • Pepper 1. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl, then place in the fridge. Can be made CARAMELIZED ONIONS: 1. To caramelize the onions, place a medium or small skillet over medium heat. Add butter and melt. Add chopped onions and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, sautéing. Add salt and pepper to taste, then cook 5-10 more minutes, sautéing while cooking. Once the onions are soft and browned, they are done. Set aside.
FOR THE FRIES: • 4-5 Large Potatoes peeled and cut into French Fries • 1 Tbs. oil • Salt • 4-6 slices of American Cheese FRIES: 1. Soak peeled and cut fries in a bowl of salt water for 10 min. 2. Drian and rinse with fresh water till water is clear and no longer starchy. 3. Toss fries in oil and place in air frier. 4. Air fry at 300 degrees for 20 min. 5. Raise temperature to 400-450 degrees and air fry an additional 15 min or until golden brown and crispy. (you can also use the oven or deep fry instead of this method)

ASSEMBLE: 1. Preheat the oven to Broil. On a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil lay out fries in a single layer. Place cheese over the top and place in oven till cheese is melted (keep a close eye not to burn!) 2. Once cheese is melted, remove from oven and sprinkle onions over the top. Top with the sauce and eat while they are hot. Enjoy!
