My name is Hadley Dunklau, I am 13 years old and live in Wayne, NE. My parents are Ryan and Crystal Dunklau. I have 3 younger siblings; Wyatt, Blayne, and Kyler. I stay active in Basketball, Cross country, and track. I also took up showing pigs last year. I Have been showing since I was 4 and am so glad my parents put a halter in my hand. This year my heifer BMW Dolly 206M was able to capture the title of Supreme Chianina. My family and I purchased her from our good friends the Winegardner/Klingaman crew in Lima, OH. They have played a major roll in my show career from the beginning which makes this win mean so much. She has been able to capture a few banners for me since I got her. The win this year means so much to me. I was lucky enough to win this award last year and it’s very special to do it again. The Chianina breed holds a special place in my heart, and I’m so glad to be a part of it. Thanks to the Chianina Association Board, Heather, and Dustin for all you do and for the breeders who help support the Supreme award. The cattle industry is full of so many amazing people that I’m fortunate to call friends as well as competitors. Of course there are people I need to thank for helping. Thank you to my parents for allowing me to do what I love and always helping me. Wyatt, Blayne, and Kyler thanks for helping me in the barn, even when I want it done my way only. Josh Taylor, thanks for the countless hours you worked in the barn for my family and dealing with our crazy sports schedules. Joe, Sid, and Steelie thank you for always being in my corner no matter win or lose. Brad, Tyler, Kurtis, and families, I’m so glad you all have supported me thru the years no matter if I had a BMW one or not. The Paulsen crew thanks for always having them fit to the max for me.
