y name is Bret Pembrook from Fairview, Oklahoma, I’m 16 years old, and I’m grateful to grow up in a family deeply rooted in the cattle business. Alongside my parents, Travis and Beth Pembrook, and my brother, Bryson, I am a part of Pembrook Cattle Company—a multi-breed show heifer operation that sells elite cattle across the United States. Our program is built around several annual events, including fall and spring production sales, a December online sale, and a frozen genetics sale each year. Growing up in this environment has fueled my passion for the cattle industry and shaped who I am today. I’ve been showing cattle for eight years now, and I currently exhibit Simmentals, Red Angus, Chianinas, and Maine- Anjous. This year, one heifer has stood out as a highlight in my show career—BCR Rachel M123, who came to us from Buck Creek Ranch. She is a daughter of Reckoning 711F and out of the BCR Time to Shine 104G cow. From the start, she has impressed me not only for her cool look, incredible structure, and breed leading genetics, but also with her gentle and fun disposition. This heifer has achieved a lot in her time on the road, earning Reserve Grand Champion honors at the 2025 Cattlemen’s Congress and the 2025 Oklahoma
