Doris Cattle has a reputation for raising some of the best show cattle in the country. While they are mainly known for raising show- stopping steers, Luke also has a long history on the breeding heifer side of things. If you think of any big show, Doris Cattle has gotten a piece of it at some point over the years; but the biggest win to date for the family was winning the 2024 National Western with the ties to Croix and Cannon’s dad, Nick. The win came with a traveling trophy that honors and
is in memorial of Nick Reimann. For Luke and Kyrstin, having Croix win the show and take home that trophy was accomplishing a huge goal. Doris Cattle has a Fall Pasture Sale in mid-Sept. where they sell 50-75 of some the best prospects in the. They also market an awesome set of bred females each year in the First Class Female Sale and Dakota Classic held each December in partnership with Vanhove and Brad Smith. ●
