To the livestock exhibitors and long-time supporters of the National Western, As NWSS President and CEO, I want to reassure you that the 2022 Stock Show is back and open at full capacity. Show management, our staff, and thousands of volunteers are excited to open our doors January 8-23, 2022. The 116th NWSS will make its mark in history as we celebrate the grand opening of the new Yards and Stockyards Event Center. Constructed on the same historic site,
suites, and a new bar to grab a cold drink from. Our friends at Walton Webcasting and CCI.live will broadcast all shows and sales in the Yards and Hill, and Legacy Livestock Imaging is our official livestock show photographer. The exhibitor experience is a high priority, and we are eager to share some new events and programs with you. We’re excited to host three hospitality parties in the new Stockyards Event Center. Friday, January 7, kicks off our first celebration event with a whole evening of music, food, and fun for the family. Throughout the show, the weekly parties are scheduled to welcome each wave of exhibitors. We’ve also launched a new online entry system to improve both the exhibitor and management experience. Entries are now open and are due November 20. A friendly reminder that junior heifers must be in the junior exhibitor’s name by December 1, and the late entry cut-off is December 10. Entries can be made at https:// livestockentry.nationalwestern.com The city of Denver continues to be open, with many businesses only suggesting that those unvaccinated should consider wearing a mask. We plan to follow suit at our show and not ask for proof of vaccination or require a mask to enter the grounds. It’s a privilege to host you all at the National Western Stock Show this January 2022. We look forward to welcoming our livestock friends back to Denver. Best Wishes and continued success, Paul Andrews President & CEO
