really work. Chad Walker (CW Livestock) is the extra set of eyes that has put our show program on another level. Without his role in our show program, we would not be where we are today. Jake Richardson has been fitting and clipping for me ever since I started showing on a national level. He is super talented and plays a big role in our program! My friends and family are also crucial parts of my support system and definitely share in our successes as well. I have shown livestock before I was in the 3rd grade. I actually started in the pig barn because my mom was an Ag teacher at that time, and that is what her students mostly showed. I won my 1st showmanship buckle at 6 and it is all uphill from there. I show because it is something that I love. It is literally a part of me and I am not sure that I would know how to live life any other way! It is something that I can do with my family and something that has made lifelong friendships from across the country!!!. •
My name is Hayden Schroeder , and I am 17 years old, from Zephyr, Texas. I have had the honor of winning the American Royal Market Goat Show the last 4 years in a row (2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021). My 1st trip to the American Royal (my 1st National Show) was in 2017. I took 1 wether and was 3rd Overall in my Division. I knew after that I wanted to continue to compete on a National Level and that the next year, I’d bring more! Winning a national show 4 years in a row is an amazing feeling and something that I am so grateful for. It is also something that I do not and will not ever take for granted. Each of the 4 years that I have won, we took an animal that we all really liked, and it has thankfully worked out for us. My parents are a huge part of my successes and the reason that I get to travel and show as much as I do. We work as a unit in the barn, and we all have our own areas of expertise. It takes more than 1 set of hands to make a show barn
