right foot and headed in the right direction. It was that meeting in Wichita Falls, Texas well over 20 years ago, that ignited my passion for the show wether industry. It was me reaching out to ask Joe Raff about his genetics and his take on the goat industry that has led to our current position at BTW in Zephyr, TX. WHAT DOES BTWOFFER: We like to think that Blue Team Wethers offers more than just the opportunity to purchase a show animal prospect. We take pride in assisting customers (and sometimes even potential or future customers) with their projects from start to finish! Whether it is in selection of an animal for a particular show and judge, or tweaking a current exercise or feeding program, we enjoy helping those who reach out to us with questions and the desire to take their project(s) to the next level. We enjoy seeing the KIDS who show our livestock and of course our livestock do well on any level. We are happy to assist with projects on the county, state, and even on the national level. It is why we are in the business and is 100% a part of any purchase from BTW. It brings us pride and joy to see kids have success and is why we have taken on the slogan #raisinglegends. For us, it is not only about the goat projects themselves, but it is about the relationships and friendships that we have gained and developed along the way.

The show wether industry has many pendulum swings, highs and lows, and ups and downs, and we have made it through most of them successfully. At times, it is not the easiest industry to keep a positive outlook and attitude in, but like my wife always says, ”If it was easy, then everyone would do It”, and that is something that we take into each new day, week, month, and year. As a family, we take pride in raising livestock that keeps up with current trends, and that can also compete on any level. We feel if you are not taking some risks and introducing something “new and different” into your genetics, you can get a little stagnant. Staying progressive and adding in some outside influences into our program has helped us stay current and forward progressing. We have been fortunate enough to have raised the
