We hold all our live sales at the Zephyr, TX breeding and sale facility from March through July every year. WHYWE GOT STARTED: We personally got into the “goat business” many years ago for the same reason a lot of people get in. First and foremost, we wanted to raise competitive show wethers for our own children to show, and then to also raise and sell competitive wethers for others to show. A BRIEF HISTORY: The Blue Team Wethers partnership has been in existence since 1999. It started with a group of three show goat producers from Texas, who were currently putting groups of wethers together for live sales. As producers, we decided to continue to combine our wether sales, but we wanted to simplify the advertising process, while creating a brand for ourselves. We came up with BLUE TEAMWETHERS, and this cooperation [also referred to as BTW] has been going strong since 1999. We are currently a combined partnership between two ranches.
