Raising market animals has

involved in my church and the school’s varsity powerlifting team. I love hunting and fishing, and I am currently working to obtain my pilot’s license. Additionally, I enjoy working on the family farm and ranch in my spare time. This past show season has been such an amazing blessing to me and my family. To win a Texas Ma- jor was a dream come true – but to win two Majors back-to-back – that is more than I ever dreamed! Of course, this is not possible without the many hours of hard work, challenges, and the amazing support of our team – my entire family, Kyle Tarter, Kirby Eaves, Jaxon Blackshear, and so many others that truly wish the best for me. been a passion in my fam- ily for many generations. My grandfather, Larry Schickedanz, an ag teacher in the Texas Panhandle

during the 1960s and 70s, immersed himself in the cattle industry. Naturally, he instilled a deep respect for this way of living with my dad, who in turn en- couraged the love of agricul- ture and stock showing in me and my sisters. Steer showing is not only something I have devoted the past eight years of my life to, but agriculture as a whole, is an inte- gral part of my family’s way of life.
