Kicking Off Summer!

One thing that is evident throughout this entire issue is the value of the Junior Programs in the livestock industry. Multiple operation’s advertisements do not highlight a sale or genetics but offer luck to those heading to Junior Nationals this Summer. Individuals highlighted throughout the magazine in special features used their platform to emphasize the importance of youth and the Junior Programs. As a family, it was our time spent traveling to shows, serving on the Maine- Anjou Junior Board and being active members of multiple breeds that solidified our connections within the industry that helped enable us to do what we do now as opening, this issue is anything and everything Junior Nationals! Don’t miss the Junior National Preview that highlights all of the various breeds Summer shows in one place - Judges, Junior Boards, logos and more. Check out our Meet the Judge special features where we interviewed Charlie marketers and publishers. If you couldn’t tell by that Boyd and Cody Sankey! Both will be judging at Junior Nationals this Summer!
The new Hall of Fame inductees are longtime supporters of the Maine and Simmental Junior Programs! Read all about them starting on page 177. This issue, however, does not begin and end with just Junior Nationals. It features some of the top genetics, sales and products the industry has to offer. Flip through the pages, market your calendars for the upcoming sales and get in contact with the various producers and companies that can help take your projects and operations to the next level! The days are getting hotter which means it’s time to hit the road for the Summer Junior Nationals! We have been busy working
on designs, backdrops,
banners and signs for multiple breed’s shows. We look forward to being the Official Media Partners of the ASJA National Classic in Madison, Wisconsin in July and seeing you at the other Junior Nationals over the next few weeks! ●
