Jones Show Cattle’s influence on the cattle industry dates back to the 1970’s. They started their cow base with Chianina’s. In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, they switch to Angus to allow for their boys to show at the State and National level. While keeping with the Angus, they added Maines to the mix in the early 2000’s and bought their first Simmental female in 2009 to start to diversity into the Simmental breed. The genetics coming out of Harrod, Ohio have been tremendous industry influencers. JSC’s first promotion bull they raised was TJSC Hot Commodity – sold to Nowatzke Cattle. Their matriarch donor, FSSC
