NAJRAE “This is Why We Show.” - It’s more than a slogan - it’s a way of life. At FUZION, the show ring is just the beginning. Behind every banner is a story of early mornings, gritty determination, and the quiet kind of confidence that only comes from doing the hard things. We don’t just raise or show livestock - we raise leaders. Kids who learn to shake hands after a tough loss, who pitch in when a friend’s stock won’t load, or a family member is hospitalized, who find their voices in the ring and their courage outside of it. We show because it connects us - to our families, our friends, and our values. From the shared meals in the barn aisle to the good times under the arena lights, and the individual competitions, these are the moments that shape character and create lifelong bonds. This is where tradition meets our tomorrows. This is where lessons are earned, not given. ‘This Is Why We Show’. Any additional comments/things you would like to highlight... For 20 years, this event has been powered entirely by volunteers. Parents, alumni, and ag professionals show up year after year - not because they have to, but because someone once showed up for them. That’s the legacy we’re building: one where leadership is taught not just through words, but through example. From Handing out ribbons to organizing contests, from cleaning up barns to encouraging firtsyear families - every act of service shapes the next generation. FUZION isn’t just a show ring; it’s a launchpad. This is why we keep volunteering. RED ANGUS The Red Angus Youth Expo (RAYE) is more than just a national junior show—it’s a celebration of the next generation of agricultural leaders. At its heart, RAYE is about empowering Junior Red Angus members through education, leadership development, and real-world experiences. These young people are the future of the Red Angus breed, and we believe it’s vital to invest in their growth and passion. Events like RAYE give them a platform to showcase their hard work, build lifelong friendships, and learn the values of responsibility and service. Supporting our junior members means supporting the future of agriculture, and that’s something we’re proud to stand behind. SHORTHORN Because we are known as the family-friendly breed. People who attend our junior national enjoy returning because of the welcoming atmosphere we provide. Once you show a Shorthorn you become a part of the Shorthorn family. This week is such a special week for our members and we do our best to make each year ‘the best one yet.’
The Junior National Hereford Expo, proudly named Best of the Barns, is the result of a year’s worth of planning, passion and dedication. But this event is more than just a show—it’s a celebration of leadership, connection and community. The competition goes well beyond the showring. At the Junior National Hereford Expo, we come together to inspire the next generation of leaders through a wide range of activities and experiences that leave a lasting impact. The friendships, the networking, the memories—they go far beyond the barns. We invite you to join us on the big stage and the Hereford celebration of the summer. The Junior National Hereford Expo is excited to debut for the first time the NJHA Meet Up Powered by Sure Champ for two days during the event. Join us as for a time of connection and networking as we celebrate Sure Champs 40th Birthday and bring the Live It, Love It, Lead It motto to life. The Bridging the Gap College and Career Fair is another highlight on the Live from Louisville schedule and is an excellent way to set our young people up for success as they begin to navigate their college, intern and career paths. The VitaFerm Junior National Hereford Expo will be adding an Oral Reasons contest alongside the judging contest for the first time in 2025. This contest will only be open to the senior age division in its first year. LIMOUSIN We want to include everyone at our “Limi Luau” with activities such as Limi Littles, an event that will allow the younger ones in the “novice” division to attend, with hopes they have the confidence to participate in an event next year. Tenderfoot, where mentors and mentees can meet up to chat, play games, and build relationships to last a lifetime. Family Fun Night, an evening packed with laughter, team games, and quality time for all ages. Adult Showmanship, because the fun doesn’t stop with the kids! Watch (or join!) as adults show off their skills in the ring—always a crowd favorite. Our goal is to create a welcoming, energetic space where people with like-minded interests can come together, share stories, and build lasting bonds. MAINE-ANJOU To have the Most Fun! MINI HEREFORD This event is much more than a cattle show with events, educational opportunities and competitions for our youth. It is a family centered event where parents can join in on some of the activities and life-long memories are made. Our youth are encouraged to learn, meet new peo- ple, push themselves outside of their comfort zones and try things they may not normally consider doing. Our goal is that each youth walks away with a smile and a list of accomplishments. Accomplishments are not always measured in ribbons and banners, but sometimes just doing something they never thought they could do.
