rian Fox is the Ranch Manager for Blind Badger

Although there have been plenty of missed steps along the way, we have stayed true to the core goals of trying to make every calf crop better. It takes an entire team effort and our success wouldn’t be possible without Mike Hansen and Koda Yost. WHAT IS BRIAN’S BACKGROUND IN THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY? I grew up in central Minnesota on a row crop, hog and feedlot operation where working hard for the family farm was instill in our family by my parents, Greg and Sandi Fox. I grew up involved in the 4-H program showing dairy steers, hogs and beef cattle. I also participated on the livestock judging team, ending our judging career

as National Champions in Louisville. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Ag Science in River Falls, WI where I played football and met my wife Paula. During college I had the opportunity to learn a lot from Ed Cody and Roger Allen. After completion of college, I worked for Express Ranches, OK and Bill and Bret Cody, TX. The opportunity to work at breeding cattle operations along with show steer operations instilled in me the understanding of the importance of a good breeding base so you can stand behind your product and take care of your customers. Now I feel so blessed to be able to pass this experience on to my

children; Tyson, Hannah and Emery as they start their show career. ■ Congratulations Brian and Blind Badger Ranch on being inducted into our Hall of Fame! View all of our Hall of Fame Members starting on page 251!
