at NAILE, and Reserve Grand Champion at the Arizona National. 2019 was also the year that we really started having some successes in the sheep barn. It took a few years for us to learn to feed and show a new species, but it finally started to click. I showed quite a few off- breeds the first few years and enjoyed and won my first Texas Division banner with a finewool cross. In 2019 I won my first Texas Sheep Division banner, and my first National Reserve Division sheep banner, and from there it has been a lot of fun. I have had the opportunity to experience some really unique moments throughout my show career. The first one being when I won Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat at the American Royal. I don’t think that I had ever really thought
about doing something like that and when it happened it was truly breathe taking. In 2021, I won Grand Champion Market Goat and Grand Champion Market Lamb at the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo on the same day. That was an incredibly crazy day! I had a parent and friends at each of the rings, and I literally ran from show ring to show ring, because my animals were going in at almost the exact same times, but it is a day that I will never forget. In 2022 I was able to do the same thing at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and at Louisville (NAILE), and at Arizona I won Grand Champion Market Goat and Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb. Then, at the 2023 National Western, the final national show of my career, I was able to double banner one more time by winning Grand Champion Market Lamb and Reserve
