I started showing steers at San Antonio in the third grade and have been blessed to be a part of the Grand Drive multiple times growing up. While this is amazing, the long awaited Grand Cham- pion slap was a dream come true! San Antonio will always hold a special place in my heart. As I stand here in the middle of the arena, surrounded by cheering crowds, I am overwhelmed with grat- itude. There are so many people and factors that contributed to my victory at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, and I couldn't have done it without each and every one of them. First and foremost, I want to thank God for giving me the strength and courage to pursue my passion for

showing steers. Without His grace and guidance, I would not have had the opportunity to compete at such a high level and showcase my steers. I am grateful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me, and I pray that I continue to use them for His glory. Next, I want to thank my family and friends for their unwav- ering support throughout my stock showing jour- ney. From the countless hours they spent driv- ing me to shows to the emotional support they provided, they have been my rock.
