Worth Stock Show, and I placed 3rd in my shorthorn class. Making the sale for the first time was something I will never forget. I will also never forget watching the grand drive that year and dreaming of winning the show one day. From that point forward I spent every day in the barn soaking up as much knowledge as I could and working with my show cattle. I had one dream and one goal. My goal was to win the steer show at Fort Worth. After my first year of showing, we began buying cattle from Zack Eagle. We spent the next two years working as hard as we could but never saw results. There were a lot of days filled with blood, sweat and tears. But my passion for showing never died and the team I had standing behind me was there every step of the way. They never gave up and always worked their hardest for me. After what seemed like an eternity of bad luck, Zack found "Tag 1," which later became Snoop Dogg. The first time I saw him was in January of 2022.

He was very green, but he was always an outlier. We brought him home and immediately started washing him every day. He always had the best disposition. The coolest part of owning him was watching him progress every day. He continuously got better and never had a bad day. Our first show out with him was a day I would relive anytime. We knew he was by far the hairiest, best- looking steer at the show, but it seemed as though we could never get a win. When the judge shook my hand for the first time with Snoop Dogg, tears fell from my eyes. Though some will think a jackpot win is small, it was huge for my story. I proved to myself that I could win. All the washing twice a day, brushing, and endless work finally paid off. Little did I know, God had a much bigger plan in store for my team and my steer. The months following were filled with a lot of banners and lessons learned. Every day I spent working with Snoop Dogg, I had one

dream in mind. Winning the Fort Worth Steer Show. Though there were many doubters, I had two people in my life that did everything they could for that dream to come true. Zack Eagle and Colton Shaw spent countless hours helping me. We were all working towards the same goal and dream. The weeks leading up to Fort Worth were filled with so much excitement! I simply could not wait to lead Snoop Dogg into the Will Rogers Coliseum. The whole week at the show was very laid back and I had such a peace of mind for show day. I knew that no matter what happened, it was part of God's plan and for my greater good. I had the best crew helping on show day and a huge group of people praying and cheering for me. Showing in class 11 was the most intimidating thing I have ever done. It was a privilege to be showing among the best cattle and showmen. When Jerold Callahan pointed his finger 1st at me, tears fell down

i, I'm Sadie Wampler and I am from Canyon Tx. I am 15 years old, and I am a freshman at Wildorado High School. I started showing pigs when I was in 4th grade and eventually started showing steers in 5th grade. I loved showing pigs, but I had always had a passion for cattle. After begging my parents, they finally bought me my first show steer, Lucky, from Colton Shaw. Colton began helping me in the barn every day. He has taught me everything I know about showing cattle and the livestock industry as a whole. That year we took a steer to the Fort
