Hi my name is Reagan Rodgers I’m 14 years old and I’m
from Savannah Mo. I’ve been showing livestock for as long as I can remember, at
the early age of 4 I started showing pigs and soon after developed a passion for sheep. Though I’ve been around cattle my whole life between my family raising and selling cattle to people across the country and helping my sister work on hers in the barn, I just recently started showing them myself. I started by exhibited at Maine and Chianina Jr. Nationals showing heifers and last year showed my first steer at the National Western. This year was exciting as for the first time I had multiple steers on feed and got to show a steer at the Missouri Sate Fair where I was Reserve 4h champion. Over the years every animal in our barn that has had
success seems to have a story behind them and my Louisville steer Lorax was no exception. Last winter he got really sick and we weren’t even sure
