Nov Dec 2020 Year End Edition

Animal Health. I’ve been full-time with my business for close to three and a half years now. I have two areas of focus within my business – promotional photos and videos for farms and ranches, and wedding photography and videography. I would say 95% of my wedding clients are people I’ve either met growing up in this industry or we are connected through agriculture in some way. I truly enjoy getting to connect with so many wonderful couples and play a part in their big life moments. The promotional video side of my business has grown immensely over the last three years and is becoming the largest focus within my business. I have been fortunate to work with clients like Sullivan Supply, Certified Angus Beef, American Maine-Anjou Junior Association, Boviteq, Trans Ova, Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, Arkansas Youth Expo, Hoffman Ranch, V8 Ranch, Lazy JB Angus, Sitz Angus Ranch, and many more wonderful organizations and families. Having the opportunity to travel the country and get to know the people behind these operations has been one

of the most fulfilling endeavors of my life. It’s incredible to look back and see how the importance of photos and videos has grown over the last five or six years. For me, creating videos is more than just showing off an operation. It’s about telling the stories of the incredible people behind them and as a result, building trust, creating or changing perceptions, and creating an archive of an operation that future generations can enjoy. Being able to serve my customers and help them achieve their goals makes the long days worth it for me. It’s taken a lot of hard work and late nights to get to where I am today. Thankfully my husband and family have been the wonderful support system behind my business. My husband has put up with a lot of late nights and weekends lost to weddings, and I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for my parents who set an incredible example for me to look up to. Beyond my family, I often think about how fortunate I am to have a large community of people in agriculture who have supported me and my business over the years. Folks like Pearl Walthall,
