The Showtimes Owners Brian, Laurie and Lisa Reid grew up showing at the Colorado State Fair! We exhibited the Grand Champion Steer in 2004, 2007 and 2010 as well as the Reserve Champion Steer in 2009 and the Grand Champion Goat in 2003! We competed with Market Steers, Hogs, Lambs, Goats, Breeding Heifers and even Dairy Heifers, public speaking and canning in the 90’s! When we created The Showtimes Magazine in 2007 we were still showing in Pueblo and were only 15, 16 and 20 years old! Lisa won her final year showing in Pueblo. We would continue showing at the state fair with Heifers until 2012. We were also a member of the Denver Rustlers Sale Group for several years. Both Laurie and Lisa served as ring stewards for many years. Did you know that we even purchased the Grand Champion Market Lamb in 2020! From 2005-2023 our family has donated the wooden signs that hang over the Grand and Reserve Champion pens. We’ve also donated Buckles
and Banners every year. In 2007 and then from 2011 through 2023 we put together our unique Show Center and Showtimes Minute videos from the show on our Social Media pages where we have over 240,000 followers. The Showtimes also runs full Show Results as well as Faces and Places photos we take at the show each August in our Fall issue. In 2021 when the state fair announcer was unable to announce, we were asked to spend eight days in Pueblo announcing and live streaming the show. We didn’t hesitate to head to Pueblo. Lisa announced the steer, heifer, hog, lamb and goat shows that year. In addition, for the first time ever The Showtimes Live Streamed each show in it’s entirety. Not only did we stream each event, we brought The Showtimes Effect with lower thirds, and motion graphics that included lights, smoke and 3D graphics. We hope you all enjoyed our live videos. Since the early nineties we have only missed one state fair (2020) as a family. We have many fond memories of our time showing and covering the Colorado State Fair! Good luck Colorado exhibitors in Pueblo! Colorado is Showtimes! ●
