Hi, my name is Hadley Dunklau I am 12 years old and from Wayne, NE. My parents are Ryan and Crystal Dunklau and I have 3 siblings Wyatt (11), Blayne (8), and Kyler (5). I stay active with my show cattle, basketball, softball, and cross country. I have been showing since I was 3 ½ years old and show Hereford, Maine, Chianina, and show steers competitively across the country. This year my siblings and I were able to meet one of our families’ goals of winning a Junior Nationals. We were also lucky enough to win the first ever Supreme Champion Breeding Animal at the 2024 Chianina Junior Nationals. CLAC Who Dat Fancy or as I call her “Caitlin” (after the infamous Caitlin Clark) has been special since

the day my dad bought her. She was raised by Jamie and Jackie Campbell in Pennsylvania and bought thru Divas and Donors sale of Jeff and Carmen Paulsen. She was fortunate to win Denver this winter and be very competitive at many jackpots across the country. I look forward to showing her the rest of the year and more importantly seeing what she can do in our herd. Wins like we had this summer would not be possible without a huge support system. We have a great group of people helping us at home and at shows. I would like to thank my parents, grandparents, Joe, Sid, and Steelie Herr, Jason Baust, Casey Martin, The Paulsen Crew, and the rest of my family and friends.

Also, a big shout out to Heather Count, Dustin Hurlbut, and the Chianina Association Boards for starting this prestigious award. Thank you to those that sponsored the supreme drive Doug Satree Show Cattle, Schaeffer Show Cattle, BC II Show Cattle, Winegardner/Klingaman Show Cattle, and American Chianina Association. Junior Nationals would not be a success without all of your support. ●
