“Be so good they can’t ignore you.” - Steve Martin This simple quote that Jenna wrote on the barn wall almost a decade ago continues to be a statement that drives the Tlach Family. Barry and Amy met during their time in 4-H in Warren County, Iowa, just south of Des Moines. Both had grown up with livestock and rich agricultural backgrounds. After college, Barry made the tough decision to sell his cows and use that money to pay for college and a house in town. Amy and Barry got married in 1999 and lived in that house in town until about 2001. Around that time, Amy found a small farm for sale with an old very run-down farmhouse on it.
