DIRECTIONS Brown stew meat (salt and pepper), prep tomatoes, green beans, potatoes, onion, carrots and then add to crock pot. Mix in Chili powder and garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Add water – about 2 cups to desired consistency. Cook on high until tender. (Varies due to altitude) We cook for about 5 hours on high. Lower heat - add peas and corn. Cook for another 30 minutes or until peas and corn are heated through. Serve on a bed of pasta of your choice. We added a slice of Lisa’s homemade bread.

INGREDIENTS STEW • 2# of stew meat • 28 ounce diced tomatoes (or at least 2 cups of fresh tomatoes) • 1# of fresh or frozen green beans • 3 large potatoes – diced • 1 large onion – diced • 6 large carrots – peeled and diced

• 16 ounce can of tomato paste • 5 ears of sweet corn – cut from cob – or 1 ½ C frozen corn • 1 cup of frozen or fresh peas • 1 teaspoon of chili powder • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder/salt
