ey there! My name is Kynlee
too. Shortly after I decided I wanted to bring it a little closer to home and went and found some super competitive angus! Little did I know that was the start of something extremely special in both breeds. I jumped in head first no looking back, I knew I found my passion and I took it and ran. Fast forward to September of 2020, me and Jaxon Swink went to look at the sale calves at Jirl and Brenda’s like usual, we absolutely knew tag 50 was the one we needed. We felt that even if she didn’t have a perfect show career she was going to be a incredible donor in the future. We took her to a couple shows where she won her respectful division. Then we started getting her ready for junior nationals, little did we know she would exceed our expectations. While in Kansas City, I was extremely blessed to be selected champion horned Hereford at Hereford junior nationals. A dream that I had since I got my first Hereford from Jirl and took her to junior nationals. It will go down as a day I will never forget and I will cherish forever.
With that being said there is no way possible I could have done it on my own. So I just want to give a special thanks to my parents and sister, thank you for always believing in me no matter what and always having my back and being my biggest supporters, it means the world to me to have y’all standing in my corner. Jirl and Brenda Buck thank you for taking me in with open arms and showing me the reigns with no hesitation, I love y’all! Matt Scasta and Davey young, thank y’all so much for all the behind the scenes stuff that absolutely does not go unnoticed, y’all are very influential people in my life! And special thank you to Jaxon Swink, for all the countless hours in the barn getting show heifers ready for whatever show is next, and never giving up on me, it means more than you know. I’m sure I’m missing some, but I want to thank everyone that was involved. It is a day I will never forget!! It really does take a village, and I’m so grateful for the people who are in my village. •
Dailey, I am 19 years old and I’m from a super small town called Kingston OK! Within that
450
small town is a place we call home, where we run about 500 head of performance based registered angus. Growing up I wasn’t super involved in showing because it wasn’t something my family did, but the older I got and was around the AG industry the more I wanted to dive deeper into it. I told my dad I wanted to get into It and he was fully supportive even though he was not super familiar with it. I showed a few decent ones a few years and then decided I wanted to get more competitive in the show industry, so I went and got my first horned Hereford from Jirl and Brenda buck. I’m so very thankful for this family, they took me in with open arms and made me not only apart of their stock show family, but their real family
