2006 JNHE BRED&OWNED CHAMPION GRANDDAM

Hi, my name is Bryden Barber and I am the 19 year old son of Brett and Nicole Barber. I have 2 sisters, Rylee and Aidyn that also show cattle. Showing cattle can be a bit of a whirlwind, but at the end of the way I would rather not be doing anything else in the world. While attending Oklahoma State I have been very fortunate to assist operations at various shows and helping prepare sale cattle with some of the top operations in the livestock industry. Back at home though I am very involved in my family’s Hereford cattle operation where we show competitively throughout the year and have our annual bull sale in November. Junior Nationals this year was an incredible experience, and I will forever cherish the memories that were made. I was fortunate to be named Reserve Senior Showman alongside my best friend Mason

Allan who was Champion Senior Showman. 15 years ago my sister won Junior Nationals with the grandmother of the heifer that I won the polled female show with, so obviously that made it even more special. I will never forget the feeling when Josh Taylor rounded my heifer and threw up his hand to go slap her as his champion! The emotions ran high as all of this was happening. I cannot thank my crew enough, Robyn & Ryan Samsel, Tanner & Layne Banks, Bob Nabours, Stock Martin, Bobby Overby, Kaid Reininger, Chandis Kottkamp, Robbie & Chelsea Duis, and of course all of my family that supports me in anything that I do! I have been very blessed with all my accomplishments so far and I would like to thank The Showtimes for giving me this opportunity! •
