lead. (Oh, and back to the Houston not wanting to show cows… Yeah, that is a thought that went by the wayside after his first spin in the pen.) The twins were very upset they could not make it to JNHE in 2020, but completely understood that it was necessary for them to get healthy before trying to make it to a show. So, they have spent the better part of 2020 and 2021 rehabbing with their long time Physical Therapist to be their best selves, so when it was time to walk into that JNHE show ring for 2021, they could do so with confidence, and they did! They were able to make lots of new friends across the United States and enjoy themselves just like any other kid. Through showing cattle, all the boys have found their passion and hope to develop careers based around agriculture. Denton would like to become a cattle consultant; he has started a TikTok and currently has almost 40 thousand followers (@ denton.stapleton). His fame started from a video of him walking his heifer this year (Georgia) on his device on his walker and proving that if you put your mind to something, you can achieve anything. Clayton would like to become an auctioneer, and an ag advocate. Houston would like to become a feed nutritionist. Both twins next goals with cattle are to learn how to fit. The twins could not be where they are today without their brother Houston. Houston does a lot of the “heavy lifting” at the barn, does all the initial breaking of the calves, and works his tail off to make sure that the twins’ calves are taken care of just a well as his own. As well as ensuring the twins will be safe when working hair in the cooler, or leading calves from point A to point B. That’s right, the twins are expected to do all the normal things a child without a disability would do, work hair, feed their animals, muck stalls if they can. Help load the trailer
