THE WORD OF GOD ENDURES FOREVER.
Romans 8:38-39 promises, “38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” When our head is spinning trying to keep up with the changes this world throws at us, it’s comforting to know that the promise God gives us will never change. The closer we are with God and the more we feel His presence, the less overwhelming the worldly changes become. God gives us stability and consistency when the world gives us chaos. The Bible says in Hebrews 13:8 “8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” There aren’t many things in life we can count on to stay the same, but we will always know that God loves us, and His word promises that if we believe in Him with all our hearts, we will spend eternity in heaven. If you haven’t accepted Jesus into your heart, just say a simple prayer to invite Him in, ask for forgiveness, and live a life according to His word. ●
f you’ve been showing for very long at all, you’ve seen old pictures of cattle through the years going from waist-high in the 1950’s and 60’s, to head- high in the 80’s and back down again. We chuckle at the extremes that the industry has gone through, thinking it was an improvement and then finding out that it really wasn’t at all. The industry has always pushed for perfection, but sometimes

it takes some trial and error before we get it right. Livestock has changed dramatically over the years, as well as the way they are presented. Clipping and fitting techniques have come a long way since the days of Orvis soap and curry combs. This got me thinking about how much I appreciate the fact that we can count on some things to always be constant and that is God’s Word and the promises in it. Over and over, the Bible reassures us that God and His word are eternal. Isaiah 40:8 teaches, “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”
