• These flush sisters have been the talk at PCC by many of the visitors that have come to look at our offering of Simmental genetics. Lots 38 and 39 are so complete in terms of structure balance and eye appeal. For purebreds, we love the way the head and neck come up high out of their shoulder and their ability to really give you that killer look from the side. After their show career these females carry as much revenue generating potential as any females in the offering. • Their dam, JBSF Proud Mary, also produced JSUL SOMETHING ABOUT MARY 8421, and is quickly proving herself and becoming one of the most consistent donors at Sullivan Farms to ever walk. • Four maternal sisters to lots 38 and 39 sold in the 2023 PCC Spring Sale for an impressive average of $30,375 and included JSUL PCC MARY 2459K, the $60,000 selection of Finn Romanchuk, and JSUL PCC MARY 2573K, the $40,000 selection of Sadie Sears. Additionally, three maternal sisters to lots 38 and 39 were featured in the 2022 Spring PCC Sale and included PCC JSUL PROUD MARY 1532J, who has been a many-time champion for Breckyn Bloomberg, including being named Reserve Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Heifer in the 2022 NAILE Open Show; Reserve Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Heifer in the 2023 Cattlemen’s Congress Junior Show; 5th Overall Heifer at the 2022 World Beef Expo Junior Show; Reserve Champion Purebred Heifer at the 2022 Illinois Junior Simmental Show; and Res. Division Champion at the 2022 Illinois State Fair. • JSUL MARY IS PROUD 8047F a maternal sister to lots 38 and 39, was Calf Champion and Reserve Overall Purebred Simmental Female at the 2018 NAILE Open Show and she also went on to be selected Grand Champion Simmental Female at the 2019 FWSS Open Show. Another maternal sister, JSUL Leapin Mary 8108, campaigned by Makenzie Hickman, sold through the Schaeffer/Tice Sale for $45,000 and has been one of the most successful heifers on the jackpot circuit in the country while another maternal sister to lots 38 and 39 sold for $100,000 in the Schaffer/Tice Sale. • Three more maternal sisters to lots 38 and 39 sold for a total of $50,000 in the 2021 Fall PCC Sale to average $16,667. • The Proud Mary name carries as much regard and recognition as any cow family within the Simmental breed. • Eligible for the San Antonio Simmental and Simbrah Super Bowl.

JBSF PROUD MARY

BROOKS STEELMAGNOLIA X57

• High performing and super stylish, this lead lot in the Simmental division of this offering is one that has big shoes to fill when you examine the immense success that her maternal sisters have enjoyed over the past few years, and she meets the challenge head on! • Travis and Beth feel this is among the best females of any breed they have offered to date and this big bodied heifer combines look and function without sacrificing shape. Her added width and power is only enhanced by her near ideal body type and extra attractive front. Regardless of operational goals, this female brings value in all areas. • Sells open.
