One minute he would be the sweetest, and the next he would try to pin you up against any wall. We purchased Leo from Joel Leo in Nebraska last fall. I showed him at a jackpot last winter, and I fell in love with him. He was originally supposed to go down to Texas to get shown down there. However, my mom and I convinced my dad to keep him up here and show him, and I am so glad we did! When Brent Tolle was walking over to me, I was thinking, " "No way that this is happening!" When I got slapped, I was so overwhelmed by emotion, one of my dreams had just come true! It was such an incredible moment that I will always keep. When this verse popped up on my phone the morning of the steer show at the North American, I knew this particular day was going to be special. Hi my name is Charlee Jones, the 16-year-old-daughter of Brandon and Cathy Jones, the older sister of Chandler, and I reside in Gridley, Illinois. I am a sophomore at El Paso Gridley High school. I am in volleyball, FFA, and 4-H. I was blessed to exhibit the Grand Champion Steer at the 2025 North American International Livestock Exposition. Winning this show was the best feeling. I went into the show with one goal, and that goal was to make the Top 5. I knew that winning it would be extremely hard because that was so many other exhibitors' goals as well. It is pretty crazy how things work out. When we went to check my steer in, his check-in weight was 1,522, as well as his check in number. When I got the notification that morning for the verse of the day the feeling became real. I always have a fortune in my
