Kellum was a member of the Reserve National Champion Meat Animal Evaluation team this year and was 6th high individual overall. He has been highly competitive in collegiate livestock judging contests this year finishing 5th at San Antonio, 10th at National Barrow Show and 6th at the American Royal. Kellum plans to pursue a Master of Science degree in reproductive physiology and become an embryologist with beef cattle. He also plans to continue his involvement in the family’s Angus cattle operation to further develop as a seedstock operation incorporating reproductive services.
