in Louisville, and his Colorado team represented the United States in the Royal Highlands Contest in Scotland. Kellum was a member of the Reserve National Champion Meat Animal Evaluation team this year and was 6th high individual overall. He has been highly competitive in collegiate livestock judging contests this year finishing 5th at San Antonio, 10th at National Barrow Show and 6th at the American Royal. Kellum plans to pursue a Master of Science degree in reproductive physiology and become an embryologist with beef cattle. He also plans to continue his involvement in the family’s Angus cattle operation to further develop as a seedstock operation incorporating reproductive services. Kellum Carnahan Kansas State University Kellum serves as an Ambassador for the College of Agriculture and as a mentor for the Department of Animal Science. He participated in an internship with Trans Ova Genetics in Sioux Center, IA, a to serving as owner and operator of 3:16 Cattle and Genetics in Julesburg, CO. His involvement in the cattle industry led to his selection summer internship with Frank Cattle Company in Nebraska in addition as an Angus Foundation Commercial Cattlemen Scholarship Recipient.
