in October 2024, we knew the potential was there. Still, as with any show heifer, we understood she would need everything to go right. After winning the Texas Junior Angus Association State Show this summer, Mitchell once again hesitated—this time about taking her to the National Junior Angus Show. He wasn’t sure she was ready and thought it might be best to leave her home and prepare for the fall run. With a little (okay, a lot) of persuading, he gave in— and we’re sure glad he did. When she was slapped Champion Owned Heifer at NJAS 2025, it felt like a moment that could never be topped. Little did we know, she was just getting started. Following an incredible Louisville this fall, MJ will wrap up her show career in Denver this January. She is truly what dreams are made of—the kind of heifer people like us work toward year after year, knowing how rare it is when everything comes together. We will forever be grateful for the memories she’s given us, and we can only hope this is just the beginning of what lies ahead for her. ● summer and another unforgettable run in
