DID YOU
KNOW This is the original Sullivan Supply Trailer. It is a 1989 model purchased for $6,900. John pulled it with a borrowed pick up for a few years (Joe Sullivan’s) because he could not afford the pick up and trailer both. They refurbished, rebuilt and repainted 4 of these original steel trailers in 2021 /2022… old school cool!
from small electrical plugin heaters. From there it just kept getting bigger. Some 33 years later, Sullivan Supply now has a new state-of-the-art facility in Dunlap, broke ground on a new building in Texas where Sullivan Supply in Hillsboro, Texas has been operating since 1992 and in 2020 purchased a new facility in Ohio to better serve that part of the country. They have a fleet of show supply trailers that are present at every major livestock exposition in the country – not to mention their products going to other countries, even overseas. Back in Dunlap, they are also working to expand their in-house manufacturing through the building of a 90,000 square foot facility to produce their steel and aluminum products. This addition will allow them to be even more innovative in design and quick in fabrication. Sullivan Supply has become so much more than just a supply company. Over the years, Sullivan Supply has added many arms and ammunition to its arsenal. In 2009, they initiated an annual Scholarship program, Sullivan Supply Scholarship, that awards $20,000 to outstanding youth in Animal Agriculture each year. Stock Show University (SSU) was founded as a complimentary youth educational
program in 2010. The Pulse was launched in 2013 as an online daily news source complimentary to exhibitors. Sullivan’s continue to be on the cutting edge of all things Agriculture. This Summer, they are excited to debut their Stock Market Fan Shop at Junior Nationals! A fun addition to their company that will provide everyone in the livestock show industry an outlet to buy everything from paper plates and key chains to backpacks and t-shirts for livestock kids. When asked how they have found the
secret ingredient to success, John said, “You have to have innovative products and people that are humble, not afraid to work and are old fashion customer service oriented.” Over the years, Sullivan Supply has been fortunate with a great group of employees, marketing partners and dealers. They hold monthly “Think Tank” Sessions with John, James Sullivan (Director of New Product Development), Scott Kinzer (New Product Development) and Matt Burkhart (General Manager) to keep Sullivan Supply’s catalog list bursting
