May/June 2022 Junior National Edition

My name is Sadie Wynne. I am eleven years old from Newcastle Oklahoma. I have been showing since I was 4 years old. I love being in the ring and to be able to say I won at OYE is one of the biggest accomplishments to me. I have showed at a lot of shows and this was one for the books. Making it into the limo is a huge goal for so many of us and I feel so lucky to be one of the ones who did. When I stepped into the Grand Drive with “Bazooka” my heart was racing and I was hopeful but when the judge came to shake my hand I couldn’t help but be so excited for this the dream of mine to win OYE actually happening. I must say showing cattle is a family thing at the Wynne house. My dad is one of the hardest workers I know and always

dry and just hanging out in the barn being my biggest fans. I love our nights in the barns with dance parties and making memories. Its early mornings, late nights and lots of hard work but its all worth it in the end. Showing is something that has been done in so many generations at my house and I am so honored to continue the tradition in a big way such as this. I would like to give a huge thank you to so many. God is so good and we give him the glory for everything he has blessed us with. I am so thankful for my mom and dad and all they do, for my brothers always being my number one fans, for my uncle Jake being at every show right by my side, and my close family and friends for always cheering me on and being there for every show. I want to say thank you to Bonham Show Cattle and the crew that are like family to me. Steve and Stacey, Travis and Jill, Baylor, Little Bob, Noah, Kade, Laney, Bo, and so many more that are always there helping us along the way. Thankful is an understatement. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances”. •
