PITT- STOP THESHOWTIMESVISITS ILLINOIS. visit a school that rallied over 50,000 total votes in our highly publicized contest this past Fall. As a part of their prize for the Best FFA Chapter title, we were going to spend the day speaking to the Pittsfield FFA Chapter as well as the school’s marketing class about ourselves and our business. What we didn’t expect, was the overwhelming welcome we received as we pulled into this town located just east of the Mississippi River. We could see the creativity and feel the excitement for Agriculture as soon as we arrived. The Chapter, led by their advisor Jody Heavner, greeted us “We Are Champions” playing, a rolled out green carpet, a chicken, cow, FFA men and a three man security team. After being welcomed to Pittsfield by the school principal and other FFA members, we made our way to the FFA room where we were treated to lunch and settled in for the day’s adventure. • ittsfield FFA may have been voted the Best FFA Chapter in America; however, The Showtimes crew won the ultimate prize. December 10th, my family and I left a 2:00 AM to make the trek East to
