BEYOND THE BACKDROP
112 Hi my name is SARA SULLIVAN , I am 17 years old and a junior in high school. My parents are John and Dede Sullivan and I have a 10 year old sister named Sage. I recently exhibited Supreme Champion Heifer at NAILE in Louisville. I have been showing cattle since I was about 6 years old and have loved every second of it. Louisville is easily my favorite show of the year. I love the competitiveness of the show and the memories I have made there. Even though she had an attitude, my Percentage Simmental heifer was very special and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to show and work on her. Winning both at Junior Nationals and Louisville with her this year was a dream come true and I will never forget it. None of this could be done without the support system I
have behind me. I am so grateful for the whole Sullivan Farms crew, they are truly the best of the best and I can’t thank them enough for their support and hard work. I’d also like to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to continue my passion of showing cattle. They are my biggest fans and supporters. I’d especially like to thank my dad for all that he does for me and giving me all the opportunities he can. He’s my biggest inspiration and the hardest worker I know. I am extremely grateful for everyone who has got me where I am. In my opinion nothing compares to this industry. It has taught me so much and the lessons I have learned I will carry with me forever. I plan to stay active in this industry and continue to educate others on its importance and relevance however I can so I can give back what it has given to me. •
