CHOCOLATE CAKE

WITH WHIPPED CREAM FROSTING

INGREDIENTS • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour • 2 Cups Granulated Sugar • 3/4 Cup Cocoa Powder • 2 tsp. Baking Soda • 1 tsp Baking Powder • 1 tsp Salt • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil • 1 Cup Buttermilk Add 1 Tbsp lemon juice to milk to create your own buttermilk • 1 Cup Hot Water

INGREDIENTS • 2 Cups (1 Pint) Heavy Whipping Cream • 4 oz. (1/2 Cup) of White Chocolate Instant Pudding You can use any flavor you would like • 1/3 Cup of Powdered Sugar DIRECTIONS 1. Add whipping cream to a cold mixing bowl. 2. Using a mixer, whip for a few minutes until peaks form. 3. Add the pudding mix and powdered sugar slowly while you continue to mix. 4. The frosting will set up fast. If it gets too thick, add a bit of milk (1 tsp at a time).

DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350°F

2. Grease two 8” round or three loaf pans and dust with flour or cocoa powder. 3. Mix together all dry ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment. 4. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix on medium speed for 3 minutes until well combined. Batter will be very thin. 5. Pour evenly into prepared pans. 6. Bake for 45 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean. 7. Cool 10 minutes in the pans then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely. 8. Layer with Whipped Cream Frosting and decorate to your liking!
