The Showtimes / Reid family were saddened to hear about the passing of Hall of Fame Member Mike Pallas. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was one of the nicest people in our industry and made an impact on us. He will be missed.

Pallas, Michael “Mike”, age 69 of Fort Calhoun, NE. Born: October 3, 1954, Hastings, NE. Died: May 5, 2024, Fort Calhoun, NE. Mike passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, at his home in Fort Calhoun surrounded with love, after a brave battle with stomach & pancreatic cancer. Mike was born October 3, 1954 to Stanley and Joan Pallas of Lawrence, Nebraska. He grew up in a loving home with seven brothers and sisters. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School. After high school he began a farming and livestock

career. Later, moving to Omaha, Nebraska assuming the roll of Farm Manager at the Omaha Home for Boys for nearly 40 years. He was an active volunteer within the community. Serving nearly 30 years with the Ponca Hills Volunteer Fire Department where he proudly served as a Firefighter in roles as a leader, superintendent, and booster club duties. he was there for you. He clocked many hours mowing, pushing snow and building for others. Family was the center of his world. He loved traveling with Cindy to Hawaii, the Black Hills, and camping. His joy was even greater when the girls and grand kids joined. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards, having coffee with friends, helping others, mowing, and spending time with the grand kids. Mike is preceded in death by: parents, Stan and Joan Pallas, sister, LeAnn Goff, brother, Ben Pallas. He is survived by:
