participated in a study abroad travel course that would take them across three countries in seventeen days. The course was designed by professors Dr. Jodi Sterle and Ben Drescher to give students the opportunity to explore the United Kingdom while being immersed in its culture and, most importantly, their agriculture industry. The focus of the trip was to build an understanding of the history, development, and protection of purebred livestock. Through an application process, students were selected for the travel course based on their involvement and interest in purebred livestock of various species. Throughout the

spring semester, these students spent time researching British livestock, cultural sites, food, and regions of the country and presented their findings to the class. This preparation would allow the students to build a greater knowledge before going abroad. After two flights, and a little turbulence, the group landed in London. They were greeted by their tour guide Micheal, a historian with quite an enthusiasm for British agriculture and politics, and their bus driver Mark, a Welshman who enjoyed singing on long bus rides.
