The ability to start from scratch, work hard and produce greatness is a trait synonymous with the Frye Family. Ken Frye, his children Clayton, Tanisha and Debbie, and Clayton’s daughters, Olivia and Julia are three generations of a family that have taken the livestock industry to a different level. Everything they do, they do well; and with everything they invest their time in, they go big. The Frye Family has established multiple successful businesses over the years ranging from a dry wall supply company in Colorado and bar in Manhattan, Kansas to a French restaurant in New York. Their influence on great livestock operations such as Mid Continent Farms, Frye Cattle Company and Frye Sisters Livestock, however, is where they are a true standout in the Agriculture industry. As a family, they have won multiple banners from the National Western Stock Show, American
Royal and the Colorado State Fair. In addition to their personal National and State Fair wins, they have sold and been a part of numerous other Champions and leading genetics across the country. Frye’s ability to make big moves has made a lasting impact on our industry. Behind the scenes, the Frye Family has generously hosted fitting clinics and judging workouts for livestock youth. They are always willing to share their knowledge and expertise with those wanting to learn. If you speak with the family, however, they give all the credit to Ken. For those of you that know the Frye Family, loyalty runs deep. Brian, Laurie and Lisa Reid [The Showtimes] have known the Frye family their entire lives. The Fryes were always the first people to jump in to support The Blackout Jackpot and Olivia Frye even made her debut as a livestock show announcer at The Blackout at the age of 10. The Showtimes looks forward to what’s next for the Frye Family!
