Thankful, blessed, and grateful is an
understatement that I was gifted with two parents to share this crazy life with. Showing cattle has always been what my mom, dad, and I do together. I wouldn’t trade all our barn fights for anything and trust me there has been a lot. My experience in the livestock industry has provided a plethora of lifetime opportunities and has truly been the backbone of my life for the last twenty-one years. I have spent countless days, months, and years in a livestock barn and while the phrase, “Were you born in a barn?” may not apply to me literally, most days it seems to be an appropriate way to describe my life over the last 21 years. •
