I am Drake Fletcher from Athens, IL. I have recently had the opportunity to exhibit the grand champion barrow at the Illinois State Fair. The barrow was purchased from Bobell Farms this past spring. The barrow we call “Turbo” would be a Soul x Never Before x Dirty Secret. This barrow has had the upper hand given his genetics since the day he hit the ground. Being surrounded by the team we have built over the years and then going on to achieve the biggest dream of them all is truly humbling. As a team we have taken the losses, and celebrated the success together. I am truly blessed to have been given these opportunities and it would not be possible without the continued support from the many family and friends behind the scene! •
