Virtual Skill-A-Thon Contest Open: October 1 - December 31 Rules: 1. Must be a UJSSA member 2. Four age divisions: Age 7 and Under Age 8 – 12 Age 13 – 16 Age 17- 21 3. Contest forms will be posted on the UJSSA Website under “youth” on October 1 4. Submit the completed contest form; name, address, state, email, phone number, and age as of January 1 to juniors@suffolk.org 5. There will be two different contest forms and PowerPoint slide files, be sure you use the correct documents for your age division. a) Age 7 and under and Ages 8-12 b) Ages 13-16 and Ages 17-21 6. Prizes awarded to the top 2 in each age group. 7. A YEAR IN REVIEW This past year was a year of trying to get back to normal. We were able to have our Jr. National Show as part of the All- American Jr Sheep Show as it was in 2019. The show was in Springfield, Illinois. It was so wonderful seeing all the kids and all the sheep. We doubled our Jr Board this year. We have five Directors and four Interns. It has been wonderful working with this board, and they have come with some wonder ideas, and they have really worked well together. They also have done a great job interacting with the Jr membership. We had a great turnout for the online contests that we held this past year. We started with a photo contest, then a virtual Skill-a-Thon, and ended the year with a Promotional Video Contest.
